Hi, I’m Mike Meszaros, the author of Sports Facility Expert.
I opened DNA Sports Center in 2009 in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Located in a 12,500 square foot facility, it featured a quality turf field, several batting cages and pitching tunnels, a weight room, and a party space, and was home to a Parisi Speed School franchise.
I started this blog the next year to document what was working for us at DNA and to share resources for other owners.
In 2015, I sold DNA Sports Center to focus on running my software company, whose flagship product is eSoft Planner sports facility scheduling software. DNA Sports Center still provides high quality sports training to the Cincinnati area today, and I work with the new owner to live-test new software features there.
Through developing and running eSoft Planner, I talk to owners of sports academies, sports complexes and other sports facilities from across the country every day. And because our software focuses on providing personal help to sports facility businesses, I spend a lot of time discussing best practices and areas to improve. Those are what I continue to share here on this blog.
I’m passionate about sports. I’ve watched my own kids improve their skills at DNA, and I understand the importance of running programs that keep people healthy and active.
